Learn all about our probes: Meet the OPTIMA 3

What is the OPTIMA 3 probe?

The OPTIMA 3 probe is a perineal re-education device. Specifically designed for vaginal rehabilitation, it features 3 independent hemispherical electrodes.

Its gold electrodes limit the risk of allergens and improve current quality.

Perineal rehabilitation is a set of techniques and exercises designed to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles.

The perineum is a group of muscles and tissues located between the pubis and the coccyx, supporting the pelvic organs such as the bladder, uterus (in women) and rectum.

How does it work?

The OPTIMA 3 probe has 3 plugs in 3 different colors (red, white and black).

To find out which plug is connected to which electrode, simply look at the plugs and find the punch corresponding to the electrode (●○○ - ○●○ - ○○●). The electrode must then be used according to the area to be rehabilitated.

This probe enables single rehabilitation (low or medium or high) or double rehabilitation (low + high - low + medium or high + medium).

The probes work with an electrostimulation device. These devices are used to help strengthen pelvic floor muscles using low-intensity electrical currents.

How to use the probe?

The OPTIMA 3 should be inserted into the vagina with the electrodes facing downwards, and the cables connected to the stimulator.

Once the therapist has determined the problem using manual testing, he or she will start a re-education session using the programs (preset or personalized) on the electrostimulation device.

Program times vary from 15 to 30 minutes.

Advanced design and functionality

The design of the OPTIMA 3 probe is distinguished by several key features:

Precise stimulation: Thanks to its three independent electrodes, the probe enables precise stimulation of perineal muscle zones, promoting effective, targeted strengthening.

Optimum comfort: Its ergonomic shape and round electrodes facilitate insertion and guarantee maximum patient comfort, ensuring a pleasant rehabilitation experience.

Enhanced safety: The OPTIMA 3 probe is specially designed to avoid stimulating sensitive areas in cases of prolapse, ensuring safe rehabilitation tailored to each patient.

Quality materials: Nickel-free, gold-coated electrodes guarantee optimum conduction and reduce the risk of allergic reactions, ensuring worry-free long-term use.

Practical and versatile use

OPTIMA 3 is simple and intuitive to use:

Easy positioning: Equipped with an external stop and multi-directional handling, the probe enables easy, precise positioning for optimal stimulation of the perineal muscles.

BANANA compatibility: Available with a BANANE connection, the OPTIMA 3 probe adapts to a wide range of stimulators, making it practical and versatile.
